Job Summary

Primary responsibility is to drive company vehicles to deliver merchandise to customer jobsites and physically unload the materials to the customer’s satisfaction with a truck-mounted forklift. 

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
  • Safe loading, handling and transportation of materials and heavy cargo
  • Delivering materials to the destination and unloading materials properly
  • Provide customer with knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service at all times
  • Responsible for maintaining vehicle in safe operating condition
  • Inspect the truck for any defects or problems which might arise before or after trips, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
  • Comply with all DOT regulations
  • Work with customers to solve customer complaint
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Ability to safely operate a Flatbed/Flatbed Dump Truck/Truck Mounted Forklift
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and interpret standard unit tape measures
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, and other employees
  • Sitting for a prolonged period
  • Ability to stand/walk for 4-8 hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 – 80 pounds
  • Ability to pull, push and grip and ability to stoop and climb 2 - 3 feet steps (into & out of cab)
  • Current driver’s license, current automobile insurance and good driving record
