Mead Lumber of Lincoln | Job Summary The Commercial Millwork Salesperson will create, foster and sustain valuable customer relationships with architects, developers and general contractors. This individual will be responsible for prospecting, material takeoff, job site visits, preconstruction meetings, and project management. To act as the day to day manager and central point of contact on commercial millwork projects overseeing materials, special order, scheduling, delivery, quality control and warranty. This person will increase brand and product awareness, cultivating new customers and managing existing customer relationships. Provide feedback to management in regards to needs of the customers Responsibilities & Duties • Identify various commercial millwork sales opportunities throughout the territory • Educate and assist with specification and installation details as required • Facilitate the estimating of project materials per customer’s request. Review architectural drawings and specifications to determine bid requirements and substitutions. • Determine estimated cost of the project and prepare bid proposal using knowledge of standard company pricing, discounts, and estimating formulas and guidelines. • Carefully spell out the scope of work and bring attention to substitutions and exclusions. • Monitor bid date schedules to ensure we hit project deadlines. • Perform additional job duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements • Previous experience in the millwork industry preferred • Strong computer skills: experience with Word and Excel • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers • Ability to build and maintain relationships • Well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize • Ability to stand/walk for 4-10 hours’ daily • Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds • May require overnight stays on occasion • Current driver’s license, current automobile insurance and good driving record Mead Lumber offers competitive pay and benefit package including:
